Okay, ladies, we all know “wellness” isn’t just about barre-lates-crank-core-blast-regimen-detox. Wellness can include binge-watching West World while you knit a shawl or bake a fabulous, tomato cheddar pie. Wellness can even be as simple as showering regularly or getting the mail from the mailbox. Wellness is also going for a long run, cranking strong female vocalists, and generating so many endorphins your soul briefly leaves your body and flies to heaven. Regardless of flying logistics, we at SCOUT HQ want to give you a vehicle that transports your wellness tools wherever life takes you. So, sit back in child’s pose, crack open an ice cold kombucha, and inhale SCOUT’s latest What’s in the Bag: the Fit Kit (you're welcome for the sneak peak of Fall 2018 patterns).

“The Fit Kit is like a clown car, it’s crazy how much you can fit inside.”
I love going to spin classes and recently purchased my own Tiem spin shoes, so I don’t have to pay to rent shoes every time. They’re so comfortable, and I love that they look more like regular sneakers than indoor cycling shoes. They also make working out so much more convenient. If I can’t make it to a class, I just clip them into a bike at my gym and stream a Peloton class.
I have thick hair and have often experienced the unfortunate moment right before a workout class where I try to put my hair back, and the hair tie breaks. I started using Teleties, and they have never broken on me. The rubber material grips my hair without pulling it out and keeps my ponytail from slipping, even during long runs.

“I like to carry multiple bags and I like that the fit kit can hold everything I need for work and everything I need to go straight to a workout or practice”
Lacrosse stick, balls, whistle, cones
I always have my coaching stuff with me during the week. I’m working with younger kids, so my whistle and cones, for drills, are most necessary.
I always carry both my Metro card and Capital Bikeshare fob, because I never know which mode of transportation I’m going to take. You’ve got to have plenty of options in this city.
Just so we’re clear, this isn’t some stressful “Summer Bod” reminder veiled in a workout bag advertisement. I would never do that to y’all. *Gingerly steps on soapbox and clears throat* Because, wellness doesn’t need to be squeezed into a specific season or swimsuit. Wellness is a journey with highs and lows, and we would be honored to play a part in yours. If you’d like a Fit Kit of your own, check out new mobile (ohm)s through this link.
