CAR SHOES: both designers Tod's and Car Shoe are famous for their takes on the driving shoe. Season after season, there are new and interesting styles to look for, each one always resting on pedal-friendly treads. Without the creative critiques of these designers' off of their previous season's lineup, we might as well stroll the streets and drive our cars barefoot... thank goodness for the stylish minds of Tod's and Car Shoe!
FLATS: flat doesn't always have to mean 'close-toed'... flats come in peep-toes and all-toes, the latter exhibited in these adorable Chanel 'jellies'. The best part about flats is how exceedingly comfortable they've become; when we don't know what to wear, we pick a flat! when we don't know what to wear in hot spring temps, we pick a strappy flat sandal! The choice has and will continue to be easy, as long as flats are still around.
DISTRESSED HUES: 'distressed' hues generally represent daytime footwear, but for spring, all bets are on for nighttime! The height you'll be working in any of these three styles further points to the fact that, once you've hit the town in warmer weather, paint it red... a distressed red, that is!
