On the Streets of Europe: White for Fall

Yo Deb readers, this week rounds out our spotlight on European street fashion in the cities of Milan, Paris, and London. We hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as Deb did capturing them!

No longer is the jury still out on white for fall... the newest news is that bright 'summer' white has now become a year-round staple in many fashion cities. Beginning with the white jean or the perfect white shirt, white has now become a basic. Transitioning white from summer into fall happens most effectively when you mix it with darker or more saturated accents… chocolate brown, black, indigo, steel grey, burnt orange, magenta, and olive. All of these work to move typically warm-weather whites into cool-weather dressing. While in the US we tend to shelve bright white after Labor Day, in Europe it's especially exciting to see it become part of someone's fall look!
